Lance Armstrong Retires Tour de France Bike race
In case you haven’t heard, Lance raced in the Tour de France which concluded this weekend, only to finish in 23rd Place. Last Year he finished 3rd, and has won the Tour de France an amazing 7 times. No doubt Lance is one of the World’s exceptional athletes. . . (here come the ‘but’) BUT…there is some question as to the quality of his wins in regards to Blood Doping, non- detectable performance enhancing drugs, and highest-tech training. These methods are controversial, possibly illegal, and he says he’s done none of them. Although I wouldn’t trade bike shorts with him, he’s my age, and I admire his contribution to the sport as well as cancer charities. Let’s hope the truth comes out during the upcoming investigation into Lance and it comes out for the best, whatever that is. This cartoon pokes more at the sport than lance, but you make up your mind.
