Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer Turns 50 Years old
Fifty years ago on December 6, 1964, Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer premiered on television. Now, Rudolph is a perennial favorite and synonymous with Christmas and Santa’s sleigh. My first memory of watching Rudolf was actually on a black and white 13 inch tv set. Ah how times have changed, but it’s good to see that some things stay the same.
