Airlines Crack Down on ESA Abuse

Southwest Airlines, among others is cracking down on the abuse of Emotional Support Animals ( ESA). Delta claims it flew over 250,000 animals last year, many of which were not trained, bit passengers, wandered the cabin and dedicated. Technically an ESA animal can be ANY domesticated animal, including; mice, rats, pigs, rabbits, ferrets, hedgehogs and more. Southwest’s new policy will take effect this week and will allow only Cats and Dogs, with a current Doctor’s note, and must remain leashed at all times.
