Each time the wonderful writers at Nickelodeon would come up with a script for Mermaidman and Barnacle Boy, I knew that I was in for a real treat, getting to voice their arch enemy Man Ray. Ernie was very generous with his stories and great good humor. And the love he had and showed for Tim Conway, his good friend of some 50 years, was always evident at our Spongebob recording sessions. He will be dearly missed. But, I know that Ernie is out there, somewhere fighting EEEEEE-VIL!!! I will always cherish our chats before the recording sessions. You had the BEST stories and could always make me laugh. Thank you for your friendship… Rest In Peace, Ernie.
